Pushing Spring

We are officially tired of Winter and ready for Spring to finally grace us with her presence.
We've grown tired of the brown grass, bare trees and the white stuff.
We've been missing the cushions on the outdoor furniture along with the warm breeze and sound of crickets that usually accompanies them.
It was in the high 60's here this afternoon and WonderBoy and Sweet Pea decided to talk their control freak angel of a mother into letting them run around without jackets for a while.
That lasted just long enough for me to get a few pictures.
Don't they know by now that mama usually has a plan?

WonderBoy is starting to include his sister in his activities, ever so slightly but oh so cutely!

  1. LOVE that last picture of the kids....that is SO SWEET..and it speaks VOLUMES!!

Hope you enjoyed the weekend...it was nice to be out without jackets, gloves, hats, etc.

Hope you have a great week....we will talk soon....I might be in your area on Weds...

    I will call you:)

  2. Love all of these, but especially the last one. So sweet. We were outside on Friday without jackets and then of course the next day it snowed(again!)...such is the nature of Winter in the frozen tundra. Spring comes here more in April and May, a little late for my taste.

Hope your week is going well!

  3. Now those are some heartwarming pictures of your son & daughter together. Pure sweetness!!

We are ready for spring, too... I'd like to look out my window and see some GREEN!

  4. AAHH, I love the beautiful pictures. They're so sweet. I especially love the last one.

You should enlarge it and frame it!
Hopefully the weather will continue to get better!

  5. Wonderful pictures! So beautiful! Your family is all very easy on the eyes!
